As Masters at Work, they fused disco, garage, house, hip-hop and Latin freestyle from New York's underground club scene of the 1980s, shaping the sound of mainstream dance music as it took hold in the decade that followed. Beyond their work as MAW, both have built extensive solo careers and side projects across the dance music world.
